Worklink Employment Support Group Inc. is a diverse not-for-profit organisation and is part of the Disability Employment Services (DES). Worklink has been in operation since 1996. Our employment services are funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, and provided free of charge to both job seekers and employers.
Worklink provides employment assistance, professional support and counselling services to job seekers who have experienced a mental health condition and other disadvantaged groups in the Cairns region.
For employers, Worklink provides a complete employment service to suit your business needs. In addition we provide a one-day workshop on managing mental health in the workplace, called ‘Managing Diversity’.
Our vision is that people who experience mental health issues have the opportunity for employment, improved economic and social well being and acceptance in the community.
